Hinduism has always remained an informative thesis to get familiar with the indigenous culture of India. But due to the interference of superstitious activities, Hinduism is slowly losing its grip from the Indian territory.
As a practising Hindu, I try my best to explain the logical side of the usual Hindu philosophy but recently I came to know about a divine object that is somehow related to Krishna. That object is called as Brahma Padartha which is popularly known as "Krishna's heart"
What if I say that Krishna's heart is still present inside the holy idol of lord Jagganatha? This might amaze you but it's the fact that can't be considered as a myth coz in here I am literally talking about "Krishna's heart" which is present inside Shri Jagganath's idol of Puri temple.
Back in the year 2015, the holy event of Navakalavara took place in Jagannath temple, Puri. In Navakalavara the old Idols of Lord Jagganath, Balabhadra and Subhadra were replaced by a new one. Quite surprisingly this event happens once in every 19-20 years.
During this auspicious occasion, the entire town of Puri witnessed a temporary blackout. During that time the Pandas (Priests) transferred the divine heart from the old idol to the new one.
During that process, the priests were advised to cover their hands with gloves and eyes with a piece of cloth.
Unfortunately, no one knows how Brahma Padarth looks like and it's still a mystery for a lot of researchers and archaeologists.

ORIGIN:
After burning the body of Krishna, Jara (the hunter who mistakenly killed Krishna) observed that Krishna's heart remained untouched from fire. Following this unusual phenomenon, Jara tied that heart on a log of wood and threw it into a river. It flowed through the river and reached the Bay of Bengal. It appeared near the ancient territory of Kalinga (Odisha).
Some intellects claim that the heart of Krishna wasn't a biological organ, it resembles with a metallic device that was radiating vibrant waves and currents.
As per Skanda Purana, it was king Indradyumna who retrieved the log of wood that had lord Krishna's heart and Lord Vishwakarma built the Idol of Lord Jagganath.
CONCLUSION:
Being the oldest among all the religion, Hinduism is profoundly associated with strong moralities and beautiful tales in the form of Puranas. The story of Krishna's heart is also mentioned in various puranic texts as well as in Mahabharata (which is perceived as an essential part of Indian History) but there is a huge faction of people who also expressed their disagreement with the actuality of this event. They consider the "Brahama Padarth" story to be more of a myth rather than history. They consider this event as a legendary tale that passed from generations to generations.
No one knows what the truth is coz people, perceive things differently. For the devotees Brahma Padartha is real and it is present inside the idol of Lord Jagganath. For some, it's just a mythological story. However, the harsh reality is the unsolved paradox associated with Brahma Padartha.

My honest opinion:
ReplyDeleteHindu culture is suffering from a huge crisis, all it needs at this moment is awareness and attention. Unlike other religions, we Hindus don't encourage people for conversion rather we let them decided for themselves. My sole reason to write extensively on Hinduism to showcase their glorious past.
